Holtec Gas Systems (Holtec) designs Nitrogen Generators for use in
laboratory applications. We also represent
manufacturers of other types of Gas Generators for use in laboratories, which
include following equipment:
Nitrogen Generators:
We supply Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA)
type and Membrane type Nitrogen Generators
for use in laboratories. The type used depends
on required nitrogen flowrate and purity.
We can supply almost any size system with
a nitrogen flowrate starting at 250 cc/min.
Nitrogen purity can be as high as 99.9995%.

Hydrogen Generators:
The Hydrogen Generators use proprietary ion
exchange membranes to ensure a high purity
of generated gas (99.99999% hydrogen). The
generators are designed for completely safe
operation, featuring sophisticated control
and dual redundancy safety systems. LED displays
indicate system status, and audible alarms
with automatic shutdown protect your analyses
and equipment should the need arise. The
generators require only water and electricity
to operate; no caustic solution is used in
these systems, making them safer and easier
to maintain than competing brands. Water
loading is automatic, allowing a virtually
endless supply of gas, and all generators
feature easy installation and low maintenance.
We can supply systems with hydrogen flowrates
between 200 and 1200 cc/min at 0 - 7 barg/0
- 100 psig without mechanical compression.
Zero Air Generators:
The Zero Air Generators remove hydrocarbons
from compressed air, producing
a hydrocarbon
free, zero-grade air with <0.1
ppm total
hydrocarbon content. The compressed
air is
passed through a cellulose inlet
filter,
which removes particles, oil,
and water.
Hydrocarbons are removed when
the compressed
air is passed through a heated
chamber with
a platinum catalyst where hydrocarbons
are
converted to water and carbon
dioxide. After
cooling, another cellulose filter
is used
as a final filter for removal
of any residual
particulate material. The product
gas is
free of impurities and can be
used in place
of high-pressure cylinders of
zero-grade
air. The Zero Air Generators
can be supplied
with or without compressors and
produce from
1,000 to 30,000 cc/min of zero
air.
Calibration Gas Generators:
The Calibration Gas Generator is a combination
of a Zero Air Generator and a desiccant dryer
to produce dry, zero-grade air with <0.1
ppm total hydrocarbon content and a dewpoint
below -100 °F/ -70 °C. The Calibration Gas
Generators can produce 15 or 22 l/min of
dry zero air.
CO2 Purifier/Purge Gas Generators:
The Calibration Gas Generator removes Carbon
Dioxide and Water from your compressed air
by using Molecular Sieve in a pressure swing
adsorption process. CO2 and H2O are trapped and vented during the production
cycle and purified gas is available
on demand
with <1 ppm CO2 and a dewpoint below -100 °F/ -70 °C. The
Molecular Sieve regenerates during
production
and does not require replacement.
The Purge
Gas Gas Generators can produce
form 14 to
85 l/min of dry CO2 free air.
